On my second day on the job my boss informed that the hourly lunch break that I had enjoyed the day before would have to stop. The word from up on high was that our department was far too busy and far too important to be missing man power for then twenty minutes at any point during the day.
I would have to eat at my desk.
Being new to the job and in dire need of the cash I could only nod my head as I came to the dim realization that I had been bamboozled.
Eating at your desk is a tiresome affair. It robs your body of exposure to nutrient rich fresh air and energizing sun while sapping the mind of motivation and focus.
I realized that the only way to combat the fatigue of eating my desk was to mentally check out while my mind went through the motions.
This blog is a collection of those thoughts and a few other I’ve had while I commute in. Share me with your friends, let them share me with their friends and hopefully someone will share me with someone important who will hire me for a job I am utterly unqualified that has a fat paycheck. I will then spread my monetary love to those of you have helped me along the way.
At the very least, take a load off and let someone else do something while you sit at your desk eating and supposedly working.

How was your interview? I had thoughts to say (before hand) that you can afford to relax. If you are audibly nervous, the natural authentic quality of your voice might be masked. You must have qualities that are desired, for you got the interview. AK
